NEW Nature Therapy Group
Is your fast-paced, technology driven world leaving feeling anxious and depressed? You are not alone. Recent research noted that almost 50% of Americans did not get out in nature even one time during the past year. This is having a huge impact on our mental health. As we become more disconnected from the natural world both our mental and physical health are seriously declining decreasing our quality of life. Even a small amount of time in nature can have a positive impact on our health. This group was developed to get you out and help you experience the healing powers that nature has to offer. Nature therapy sessions will occur in natural settings and will include such activities as going for walks on the beach, hikes in our beautiful mountains (for those with the fitness to do so), painting nature scenes, creating nature mandalas, drumming circles, movement therapy, and mindfulness in the great outdoors.

This is for those feeling depressed, anxious, and overwhelmed in their current lives.
Saturday’s from 10am-12pm
TBD by the activity for the week.
$100 per session. Sorry no insurance is accepted for this group at this time. A superbill can be provided for out-of-network insurance reimbursement.
Dr. Cindy Mitchell, Sean Mitchell, and Brian Bryce
Dr. Mitchell is a licensed clinical psychologist in California and is certified in Neurolinguistic Programming and EcoPsychology. She is also working on certification in Nutritional Psychology and has specialized training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Sean Mitchell is currently certified in Neurolinguistic Programming and Hypnotherapy. He is also working on certification in Functional Diagnostic Nutrition and has experience in applying mindfulness in a drug and alcohol counseling setting. Brian Bryce is a certified Reiki Master and Qigong instructor who studied under Richard Barr at the Energetic Arts Center.
